Cyber Threat Summit November 18th 2011

The event is being run by the International Cyber Threat Task Force (ICTTF) which is a not for profit group established in order to create an international community of experts to deal with cyber risks and threats.

Cybercrime is reported to cost £27 billion a year in the UK and attacks on the UK's information technology systems has been identified as ‘one of the four most serious threats to national security'.

The Council of Europe has adopted a Convention on Cyber crime which has now been ratified in UK law and this imposes an obligation on Directors to ensure that their company's computer system cannot be  used to commit a criminal offence i.e. you are required to be proactive in the management and control of your computer network and have the appropriate control measures in place.

This event is aimed at senior executives and is an opportunity for you to learn about how you can deal with these issues within your organisation.

In view of the importance of the subject we would like as many of our  clients to attend as possible and have therefore negotiated a 50% discount from the standard charge of £500 per delegate.

In order to book and take advantage of our discount, you need to register at http://www.cyberthreatsummit.com/ and enter the code "capitalandcounty".  The price will then automatically reduce by 50%. You will be able to book more than one space in this way if you wish.
